Why am I here?

This blog serves as a means for exploring my time as a graduate student at Columbus College of Art and Design.  I anticipate using the blog for journaling, both visually as well as linguistically and hoping to ask questions and find answers about ideas, concepts, and my overall practice as a visual artist.  In my past work I have used digital photography as a means to explore and abstract the female form, but over time I aim to incorporate craft within my work in efforts to investigate a plethora of topics relating to both feminist issues and ideals as well as broader subjects such as memory and constructed remembrance.

Questions, comments, and informed criticism are always welcome.
